Flea Markets

 |

Call me a cheapskate, and in fact, I am proud to be one! Why? Because half of my clothes are bought from flea markets! You would be thinking that flea markets are filled with old junk, antiques, and tattered clothings but hey no! Or rather, the ones that I have been to have branded clothes such as Fashion Lab, Mango, Forever 21, Chaos etc.. and trust me, the quality is good! A piece of clothing cost between $2 to $5 each, so all you need is a good wash and viola! Who can tell the difference right?

Just a tip: Not every item in flea markets are nicely displayed in hangars, most of them just dumped a pile of clothes on a mat and you have to squat down and literally look through every piece. Just like finding a needle in a haystack! Well if it's cheap and good, why not?

Thankfully, there is a flea market held on the second weekend of every month just a stone's throw from my house. In fact, that was the reason why I started falling in love with flea markets. In case if there isn't flea markets near your area, here is a list of Flea Markets in Singapore:
