Mid Autumn Festival 2008

 |

Remember how insanely infatuated I have been with lanterns and sparkles as mentioned before? Well, my crazy little wish didn't come to pass but dear and I decided that it was a joy to see other people celebrating Mid Autumn Festival as well! So last night, we biked to Esplanade where there were supposed to be some bands playing by the bay. Instead, we were welcomed by groups of Chinese musical groups performing in the theme of Mid Autumn Festival itself.

Well, I haven't been able to fully appreciate Traditional Chinese Music but last night, a particular Chinese Drum Troupe stood out from the rest of the performing Chinese groups. This group - ZingO Festive Drum Formation, is one of the most synchronized and 'macho' Chinese drum team I've seen by far. And if you check out their website, their achievements and milestones will vouch for how good they really are.

Artistic Shot Attempt #1
Look! He's still on the phone!
City by the bay. Really beautiful especially in the moment of celebration itself!
Construction for the upcoming IR. Day and night, night and day
A closer look at the heart of Singapore, where the night life is buzzling with lights, action, and infinite activity
Here's us trying to get a good picture of the scenery
And finally something decent!
Hmmm, looks like dear is a busy man.
Off we go! Goodbye Esplanade!
