Up & About

 |

Saturdays are usually couch-potato days for both the bf and I.

A typical Saturday program will usually involve lots of lazing around, shows, food, and before we know it, Sunday comes and slaps us with reality, that we have wasted a whole day doing nothing but nurture our lazy genes.

But today, we are nothing like couch potatoes.

On the contrary, we got up reeaaalllyyy early in the morning because of band practice, which was held at 9am.

After which, the day transformed into a whirlwind of activities:

We were supposed to meet our friends at 1:00pm, at TOTT. However, we arrived early and dear took the chance to test ride the BMW K1600 GT.

PS: Not sure if you can see, but if you look hard enough, you might see a frown on Scarlet's face (right at the right-hand corner for the above picture).

Waffles - my favorite teatime dessert

After walking through several rounds in TOTT's, we wanted to head our way for late lunch at the nearby vicinity. Unfortunately, the rain dampened our spirits and foiled our plans. So we headed back to TOTT's bistro for some teatime desserts.

The rain didn't simmer until late afternoon. And when it finally did, we headed to Turf City to grab some groceries before returning home.

Along the way, we were distracted by a particular seafood market which was selling many ginormous seafood!

Anyhow, it started raining cats and dogs when we finished our grocery shopping, so we ended up having dinner at Owen Restaurant.

I must say that the quality of food at Owen Restaurant is truly satisfying and good. Apart from the cheese lobster, I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the dishes!
