Second Ant Nest

I found the SECOND ANT NEST THAT WAS IN AN ALUMINUIM FOIL, lying somewhere in dear's kitchen. GOSH it was gross!

So the brave knight edged out the contents in the aluminium foil and started spraying it with his weapon. BAYGON! As for me, I cleaned up the debris after he threw in the disposal chute.

I really detest insects, even ants. Urrghhh.

His Joy Will Be My Strength

Today was a fruitful day of studying at SIM library. I was there cos I accompanied dear to school, so studied there while he was having lecture. Seriously felt like a noob, and of course I had those 'what-are-you-doing here' and 'are-you-lost' glares occasionally. Nah, I'm sure they'll get used to me!

Prayer meeting was good. Reminded me of one very important fundamental of JOY, that I shouldn't let circumstances determine my joy, buy let my joy determine my circumstances.
Amen to that. His JOY WILL BE MY STRENGTH

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" John 14:27

Ask me why I believe in Jesus. Because He is real in my life, because He is the son of God who factually died on the cross 2000 years ago, for me, for you, for us, for them. And because my God is perfect, and His words are true, and whatever that has been prophesised in the bible is true, and there are too much of 'coincidences' in my life when I pray, and He is unexplainable by and science or human wisdom. I just don't know why people acknowledge that there is a God, but refuse to believe in Jesus. For this cause we're hitting the streets this saturday for youth EE. I pray that that day we will become fishers of men, and those who are lost will come to Him.

Why Women Are Special

He is strong enough to shake all earth and heaven, yet weak enough to take me as I am.
Isn't it true? This really ministered to me because my God is so strong when I'm weak,
He's so able!

Anyway I received an email from sam (my secondary school junior) that really blessed my heart. It talks about how women are made specially and delicately by the Hands of God, and how much time He took to shape a woman. And though we receive emails like that once in a while that makes us feel good and confident of ourselves, we really ought to give thanks to our Maker for He wonderfully and fearfully created us in our mother's womb.
That makes each and us so SPECIAL; so unique.

To all girls out there:
We need guys to do things we can't do. They are the man of the house, that secruity blanket, firm shoulder and everything else good. But God is greater, place Your securities and hopes in Him, because His blood never fails. As for ourselves, we are no way inferior because God made us with emotions, He made us strong yet delicate, firm yet gentle, hands that do the impossible, a heart small enough to live on yet big enough to love, vulnerable yet willing, unconditional.
But hey girls, with all those said above,
we often forget what we're worth :)

Thank You Lord for making me as a woman. For fearfully and wonderfully creating me as I am, for being weak enough to take me as I am.

Movers & Shakers

Glad that much things were done today in church. The band guys set up the speakers and the new mixer while the gals helped to clean up and pack the youth room. Though it was strenous and 'sneezy' from all the dust and the dirt lying around, it is heartwarming to see that the youth room is spick and spam, anti-rubbish, and organized.

Oh and a BIG PAT ON THE BACK for those who helped to carry things and set up the speakers and mixer!
