Well, that's what dear and I did. We met up with our friends and went a few places. Orchard was one of them, and boy it was a long time since both of us walked along the streets of Orchard.
Everything's changed. New buildings, new architecture - it was really an eye opener for us!
So we walked down Orchard Road, and suddenly we saw some marching going on. Our dear friend then explained that this march occurs on the first week of each month, and signifies the change of new guards that will be on duty in the Istana.
Soon, it was dinner and our tummies were hungry. I suggested Watami Casual Japanese Dining, and everyone was in favor.
Dear ordered Sukiyaki Nabe, while I ordered the usual Chicken Katsu Tamago Koji. With good food and good company, what else could I ask for? :)
