2010 CNY Shopping

 |

One fine day, dear asked "So when are we going to do our Chinese New Year shopping?" I looked at him, with both a stunned look and a smile. "Sunday afternoon," I replied.

You see, dear has never asked that question before. And when he did, it threw me off-guard. It's indeed a good start.

So we headed to Bugis after church, and after having some famous Pontian Wanton Mee for lunch, we began to shop from OG down towards Bugis Junction.

It was pretty fruitful for him, as he managed to get himself a few items. It wasn't as such for me though. I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Anyhow, we walked and shopped for 2 to 3 hours non-stop, before chilling out at Mcdonalds. That was when he rested his head on his hands and collapse into deep slumber.

After napping for half an hour, dear had to leave to meet his secondary school friends for some farewell dinner. I decided to head back to Bugis Village to do a more thorough shopping alone.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to buy anything that I really liked. So the empty-handed me went to meet my friends at Bugis for dinner, followed by another shopping session at Raffles City.

What a long day of walking and shopping! It should be counted as exercise right!?
