I've never had an affinity with insects. On the contrary, I scream, run, and go totally looney when I see ANY insects near me.
Ok I'm exaggerating. I generally detest flying insects i.e. Bees, Beetles, Flying Cockroaches etc. So my current tolerance level starts and end with the common Ant and Lizard. Oh, and the occasional mosquito.
If a flying insect comes my way, you'll probably find me under the blanket, hiding behind someone, or wearing my helmet FOR A LONG TIME.
But when I stumbled across this little moth, not only was I cool and calm, I was able to approach it slowly and take a picture of the lovely patterns on its wings.
I guess I'm slowly building my courage and tolerance with these winged creatures. And for that, I think I shall pat myself on my back.
