Johor Premium Outlets

 |

It was one of those rare Saturdays where both dear and I had no plans; no band practice, no errands to run, and no outings with friends.

But our Saturday plan to shake legs, lie on the couch, and bum around was soon interrupted when our friend asked if we were interested to visit the new Johor Premium Outlets.

At first, we were quite apprehensive because we were worried that our bikes would be stolen or some sort, since there will only be 2 bikes. But after researching a bit further, we reckon that bike safety and parking shouldn't be a problem, since Johor Premium Outlets is a new shopping mall and is located far away from Johor town (where it's crowded and infamous for bike theft).

After having an early lunch at Gelang Patah town, we arrived at Johor Premium Outlets at about 1pm thereabouts.

Our friend mentioned that it looks just like the one in States. Unfortunately, the weather's completely different.

After 3 hours or so, we were done with shopping and had gotten tired of the crowd. So, we headed back to Gelang Patah town where dear sent Scarlet (his Honda STX 1300A) for a bike wash.

There, we learnt a hard lesson and painful lesson: whatever that is cheap might not be good. Well, one of the staff carelessly left one of Scarlet's side box on the car ramp, and we watched in horror as it came tumbling down the ramp.

*Sigh* Regardless, there wasn't anything we can do, except to return home feeling hopeless. But apart from the bad experience at the bike wash, it was a nice chilling out and gallivanting in a foreign country. Maybe I should prod the boyfriend our friends to do this more often.
