So after getting bored with the selection of lunch choices from the usual coffeeshops at the office vicinity, we decided to head out to Toa Payoh Central, where eateries and coffeeshops abound.
Arriving at the usual food court, we glanced at a new eatery within the premise - Funan Weng Ipoh Hor Fun.
Attracted by the well-taken food pictures and since we haven't tried this eatery before, we decided to have our lunch there.
Ipoh Hor Fun with Shredded Chicken & Chicken
Soft, bouncy, and soaked in a generous portions of sweet, tasty, herbal soya sauce, their Ipoh Hor Fun undoubtedly stands out from the rest. However, I think their portions are a tad small, so for those big eaters out there, perhaps you might have to plan for an after meal dessert somewhere else.
That aside, the chicken shreds and prawns taste very average. But as you continue to eat further, the ingredients, mixed with the herbal soya sauce, will slowly grow on you.
All in all, I did enjoy my meal here at Funan Weng, and will surely come back to try out other dishes.
