Lymph Nodes

Causes:

1. Bacterial/Fungi Infection

2. Inflammation from an open wound

3. (some say the high intake of caffeine)

I would like to think that the lymph node grown on my underarm is due to the third cause as stated above.

It's kinda scary when I search online regarding 'lymph nodes' and the results show the relation to terminal diseases such as Melanoma, Breast cancer blah blah.

Well thank God I spoke with Pastor Joyce (who is a nurse) regarding it and she felt my head and neck to see if there were more lymph nodes. So she was saying that since it is only one, most probably it is infection, that's why the lymph node is grown around the infection to enclose it. She added that it would subside within 2 weeks.

To make things really worse, I've been coughing like really bad :(

It feels like my throat is really itchy which apparently triggers the urge for me to stuff something down my throat to scratch it. Whatsmore, my throat hurts when I talk. I don't know what's wrong, but I know that I seriously need antibiotics.

More Presents!

Dear was really sweet to accompany me to when I took my Basic Theory Test this morning which congratulations to me because I Passed!

After which we we went for lunch and shopping at Marina Square/City Hall. Lol the objective was to 'shortlist' and see if he really likes the items that I've showed him. Hmmm, valentine's day is round the corner ay?

Well our last stop was the toy department at Carrefour which dear wanted to check out his Remote Controlled Helipcopter. It was a disappointment though :(

Anyway, just as we were about to leave, my eyes caught a glimpse of a toy that made my eye sparkle and the little kid jumping within me. It was Spongebob Joystick Consoler which apparently works in a way where you plug it up your television and you can start to play the 5 spongebob games that are pre-installed in the console! Amazingly fun!

Dexter's Farewell

Sorry dexter's collection date has been postponed to Thursday. Anyway here are the list of things I did today for Dexter's farewell,

Goodbye Dexter II

Thinking about dexter makes me cry. In fact I can't control those tears. Dexter, my only dog is loved by me. Yes dexter, I love you.

1. He does his business in the toilet if he is not brought downstairs

Goodbye Dexter

This is grave. Dad is sending back to SPCA if no one else expresses interest in adopting him by next week.

Thinking about it, though I am reluctant to say goodbye to my beloved dog, I agree with my dad that future circumstances will make things difficult to maintain dexter. Dad gave reasons such as Ministry, my parents' general heath ( I think they are getting really tired), I would be going on to Uni and my brother to NS this year so there wouldn't be anyone to walk him, my dad's business isn't doing very well :( Sigghhh. All I can say is that I am sorry and guilty that we took dexter in from SPCA in the hope that we can provide him better. Look what things are ending up, back he goes.

Well the good thing is that I finally cleared my emo-self and thoughts after snapping at dear on friday. Did some serious reflection and majoy CRYING to realise that I really need God to fill me first before I can give, before I can love. I need to be restored first, I hope you understand dear. But anyhow, I feel much better laying things down on the table. So now, the air is cleared and yeah.. happily ever after once more :)

Happy New Year 2007!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! :D

Went to Lion City Hotel for a High Tea treat from Alex for those who helped out in The Light Moment way or another. Food was not bad, but fellowship was good :) We then made our way to Parkway Parade to galivant and catch up with the Post Christmas Sale. AHA! We spend almost like 3-4 hours walking through each shop and finally landed in the arcade to loosen ourselves and grab hold of some childhood fun. LOL many of us went our own ways and played our own choice of games while I enjoyed being a spectator HAHA. Anyhow, dear and Jeremy finally decided to toss their remaining credits on a machine ( you know those kind where you have to use the hammer and slam to see whether you reach the high score?) And HAHA didn't know that my man was strong enough to hit the high score. WOW!

After the sudden realization that it was getting late, we decided to head home. LOL guess what, just imagine the scenario where 5 people are squeezed at the back of a Hyundai Getz? HA thank God we are all slim people x)

Went to church on sunday for the usual services, went for lunch and decided to play some pool to kill time. Man I hereby declare that I have no pool genes. Sighh I am a sucker.

Rushed back to church after that for Watchnight Practice with the youth band. When it finally ended, we only had enough time to eat dinner before watchnight service officially started. So indeed basically sunday was filled with programs lined one after the other. Well at least the countdown was good! HAHA oh and my two rascal cousins came to stay over. By the time we took turns to bathe, settled down and get a shuteye, it was almost 3 am. Yawn

So this morning all of us slept our fill except for my cousins who woke up so early and started disturbing me :( I guess they must be pretty much excited with the FUN they were expecting to have at my place HA. Anyway it was funny to see my cousin Apphia walking my dog. A skinny girl walking a big dog HAHA. Well my male cousin Rufus was hogging my laptop and playing The Spongebob Squarepants Game. We finally bid goodbye to them when my parents send them back in the noon, as I got ready and left to meet dear. Oh what a day
