Unlike the previous Airport Trips that we've had, things had to take on an unexpected twist. One moment we were this, in a split second, we were that; literally like an emotional roller-coster.
Once again, it set me thinking, and once again, I had to take home another precious lesson.
Now for lessons, I have resolved that lessons are not when you ensure that it doesn't happen the next time, but rather, it is learnt when you ensure it doesn't happen again. That's why we keep learning, because we keep making mistakes.
That's why, it's time I stopped knowing my lessons and start learning from my lessons instead. Sigh!
Another take-away lesson I've learnt so dearly is: Love doesn't mean you are shielded from criticism and opinions, or even painful truth. But love promises healing, love promises hope, because love never fails. And because of that, we hope in all relationships.
