Grace Said.: Newton Food Centre

Recently, both dear and I have been really busy, juggling with school and work. So other than seeing each other in church, we are really squeezing any extra time we can get in between our schedules to meet up and hang out.

One fine example would be - our lovely supper at Newton Food Centre!

Location: Newton Circus, entrance at Cavenagh Road.
Getting There: Take the MRT to Newton Station (NS21)

Cold Cheng Tng - $1.50

Not really fancy, I still prefer the one at Amoy Hawker Centre because the ice is made out of the Cheng Tng soup itself! So when it melts, the taste of the Cold Cheng Tng isn't diluted.

Hokkien Mee, also known as Prawn Noodles - $4 (Small)

In my opinion, way too overpriced. Like what dear said, too watery.

Chicken Roti John - $3

Trust me, the one at SPIZE Roti Prata Shop near Great World City is 100 times better. After all, that's why they call it their 'Award Winning Roti John'
