Unfortunately, signs of dark clouds and gusty winds meant only one thing - Rain. In fact, in rained so much that the whole trip evolved to something really quite unexpected!
.. Literally "tired" of waiting at Changi Ferry Terminal Point
Wow. Look at the rain, I can hardly anything beyond that curtain of rain
When we arrived at Pulau Ubin, I whopped out my camera and started taking the first thing my camera laid its lens on - This Kelong!
Well we were wet because there wasn't any shelter when we alighted from the boat to the Pulau Ubin Station. I guess that explains the messy hair and the towel!
The winds were blowing really hard, I had to wear dear's extra shirt to keep warm. Still, that wasn't enough, more towels for insulation! Poor him (Or should I say strong him), having to survive the cold winds with his singlet!
Here's Ivy, the cheery one. While waiting for the rain to stop, we really entertained ourselves by doing random things like: dressing Ivy up as a really cute recruit.
Here lies the road to Pulau Ubin, but we never made it there. Thanks to the rain..
After waiting for close to 2 hours, we decided to abandon this plan and implement our contingency plan - EXIT! Goodbye Pulau Ubin, we will be BACK!
With the rough weather, cold winds, and never ending winds, how could he possibly be cheery?
Ivy & Zen, excited about our contingency plan!
On the way back, the rain seemed to have simmer. Pfft!
Ivy, "Look sister! A king fisher!"
Choppy waters and dark skies, thank God we made it back!
Boats berthing on the docks of Changi Ferry Terminal Point. We then headed to Tampines Mall for lunch and a movie. In the mean time..
Shopping and taking more pictures!
