Back To The Zoo

 |

Ok ask yourself, when was the last time you visited the Singapore Mandai Zoo? Clueless?

For me, it was last sunday! Well, I followed the Royal Rangers Excursion to the zoo as their photographer (not that I am good with cameras, but I do enjoy taking photos) and dragged dear along with me.

Upon arriving at the zoo, it was really quite refreshing to see the changes made since the last time I visited it. What's more with the kids, it really adds on to the fun factor when really go amazed and excited with everything they see!

Here's the group at the entrance, getting into their little groups, eating little lollipops, playing rock paper scissors whilst waiting for instructions and their tickets!
Dear, Michelle and I decided to catch the Splash Show at 2:30pm at the Amphitheatre, and it was just sardine packed with people! We couldn't get a seat or stand on the railing because it was so filled, so we stood by the side, tip toeing to catch a glimpse of the show. That's where we spotted Jaime and her team!

Here are some if the teams, at different spots and places doing their Wildlife worksheet. It really is a educational trip, isn't it?
Oh and as usual, I spotted little Jenn Jenn eating again!
A few hours later, it started getting cloudy, then crackling thunder and torrents of rain started pouring. Some of us seek shelter at KFC, whilst the others look for the nearest shelter they could find. Soon the rain stopped and since it was nearly time to head back, we executed Project Exodus in the rain.

It was really fun, and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Ok maybe not the rain part, but overall.. it felt as if I was a kid once again.
