Squeezing Time Out

 |

I reminisce those days of a simpler time, where we would meet up during our holiday and do things together.

I reminisce how easy things were back then, no responsibilities no worries, no burdens. The only things on our minds were homework, exams, adolescence, mutual yet innocent feelings, and having plain fun doing random things at random places.

Now, things have gotten more complicated as one ages. Perhaps more responsibilities and tasks comes as one grows older, and we can no longer enjoy the freedom of playing like a kid.

Now, everything has a schedule, a deadline, a goal to be achieved. Such is with us, where we spend our time and priorities on work and school, taking for granted the time we spend together.

But thankfully, it warms my heart how we still manage to squeeze time out and spend the little precious time together despite our hectic and volatile schedule.

So some nights we go to our favorite hangout at Changi Airport to chill, or watch a late night movie, or if he's in my area for some job call out, he will drop by my place.

Now I finally understand how to appreciate each other with the little time we have, and thank God for how things fall into place so nicely despite our hectic schedules. :)
