Everything was as usual, a short time of Worship led by Alex, followed by Sharing and Testimonies by all of us (today was a really small group of us), then Prayer and Closing before we end with refreshments and fellowship.
But today was different :)
Christine walked out of the kitchen with a cake in her hands, and smiled at me cheekily. Aha! I knew that the cake was meant for me, and I ran to her and thanked her for getting my favorite cake - DURIAN CAKE! :D
Awwwhhhhh thank you dearest Weston and Christine for the cake! I really loved every bit of it! By the way, the cake is really durian inside out. The 6 fruits you see on top of the durian cake are made of real durian fruit, and in between the cake layers are durian with cream. Aaaaahhhh~! Fantastic! Pardon me, I'm a durian lover :)
Ha that's me beaming with excitement! Rarely do I have birthday cakes for the past few birthdays I've had!
I was lost and disorientated for a moment because I'm not quite sure which is first, blowing the candles first, then making a wish then cutting the cake or some other combination?
Aha! I was supposed to cut the cake but as you can see above, I'm pretty much a dangerous lady with knives :)Possibly Related Posts:
