Each year on the first day of Chinese New Year, we will visit the same places, see the same faces, and ask the same questions. For the young, it will be "How old are you? What school are you in? How are your grades?"
For the young adults, it will be "Got boyfriend or girlfriend or not? When getting married? What you working as now?"
For the adults "Wah! Your kids so big already!".. etc..
Hmmm. It does make me think, why can't we go beyond these questions, and ask questions that reveal more about ourselves, resulting in a better rapport and understanding of each other lives.
