In that very month, I did however consult different orthodontists based on the consolidated list of dental clinics here. Well, not that I was fussy or anything, I actually chose a dental clinic near my workplace (which is also pretty near my house) but due to their popularity, they could only book a schedule for me two to three weeks later. Reluctantly, I accepted but in the mean time, I started looking for faster alternatives which ended up making me disappointed as some of the treatment were either too expensive.
Dismayed, I finally told myself to be patient and wait for my original appointment with the dental clinic near my workplace.
So three weeks has past and I finally went for my appointment. Well if you had to ask, the dental clinic that I visited was Ubi Dental Clinic. Anyhow, I was pretty impressed when I arrived because though it was tucked in a heartlands area, the interiors and decor looked very professional and cosy. And unlike the usual orthodontists I've consulted, my orthodontist Dr Joanne Quek was very gentle, attentive, and humorous! With her jokes and personality, my fears were all allayed.
Anyhow, Dr Joanne Quek advised that she was only able to give me a quote on what types of braces I should go for, how many teeth I should extract etc after she has studied the moulds, x-rays, and photographs.
I thought it was a fair deal, so I immediately agreed to have the x-ray and mould done. To cut the long story short, all is done, and I have to wait till 21st September for my next appointment as my doctor will be away on course for training.
Hmm.. can't say that I am impatient, I guess I am just "excited" and anxious, and more importantly, hope that I can have beautiful teeth soon.
