Let's Me@t

 |

Despite having 7 coffee-shops in the nearby vicinity of my workplace, my colleagues and I often scout around for new places to satisfy our gastronomical cravings.

So one day, a colleague passed me a newspaper cut-out of a Fish & Chips review and the next day, we decided to give it a try, since the newspaper review gave it 4/5 stars.

As I wasn't feeling well, I decided to give fried food a pass and ordered Fish Soup Noodles instead. But 2 of my colleagues went ahead and ordered: Fish & Chips, and a Ribeye something.

When their food was served, we were all taken aback by how huge the fish was. Seriously, the plate was huge and the fish took up half of the plate. GINORMOUS I tell you!

My colleague went to to cut a slice and I watched her expression intensively to find out if the Fish & Chips is really THAT good.

She nodded and bobbed her head a little, while she chewed her fish slowly, judging-ly.

Finally, she uttered a "Good. Not bad', before taking another slice of the fish.

Fortunately, I had a chance to taste her fish and my oh my, it taste wonderful! Soft yet crispy, with tender fish meat that's not masked with an overwhelming flour taste, I nodded my head and told myself I had to try this the next time I come to this coffee-shop! $6.50 for such a huge portion of Fish & Chips, it's definitely worth it I'd say!

Edit: I tried this Fish & Chips on 24th August and it's sad to say that their Fish & Chips didn't taste as good as the first time.
