On A Rainy Day

 |

One of the downsides of being a motorcyclist is being exposed to the elements of weather; especially the rain.

So for me, I do make a point to check out National Environment Agency's (NEA) rain areas before I move off:

Despite the time lag of 5 to 10 minutes, it has been pretty accurate so far. And if I want to know the movements of the rain clouds, I check out here:

But recently, I found out about a new iPhone app called SG Weather.

It looks pretty much like NEA's rain areas, but what I'm particularly delighted with is their notifications. Being able to set 3 rain alerts, push notifications will be sent to my phone when a particular area is about to rain, giving me the heads-up to wear my raincoat or decide if I should take a different route.

Since caring is sharing, I thought this would be good for all you motorcyclists out there. After all, it's always good to be prepared for the rainy days.
