Cold Stone Creamery

 |

After a sumptuous meal at Ochre, Jeffrey brought us to Cold Stone Creamery, which is also under the Kitchen Language group.

Cold Stone Creamery at Orchard Central.

It's quite amazing to find a crowd at Cold Stone Creamery even at 10:30pm. Apparently, Cold Stone Creamery is quite popular amongst the young and teenage crowd.

Apart from Ice Cream, Cold Stone Creamery also sells Ice Cream Cakes. It's a challenge, he said, because they have make the cake within a certain time lest it melts.

I found this little Kids Viewing area quite interesting! Basically, parents can place their kids here so that the kids can watch the crew prepare the Ice Cream.

Cold Stone Creamery also offers customization for their Ice Cream cakes.. at no charge!

Customers can also look through this interactive digital catalogue for the different kinds of Ice Cream Cakes. Very tech saavy.. I like!

Despite tight competition that Cold Stone Creamery might face with competitors like Ben's & Jerry's or Island Creamery, I believe that it's the culture that Cold Stone Creamery has (in addition to the quality of Ice Cream) that draws such a large crowd to its store everyday.

And by culture, I mean fun, vibrant, and gregarious crew like this:

With staff that are fun-loving and jocular, I guess it's why people (including myself) would want to come back to Cold Stone for a scoop (or more) of Ice Cream.
