The HandBurger (Raffles City)

 |

It wasn't intentional that Dear and I chose The Handburger.

It all started out when I needed to have my caffeine fix, and if possible, grab a tiny bite to feed my perpetual hunger.

So after strolling through the tight walkways of Raffles City Basement, I saw that The Handburger was quiet empty and even better, they have this Tea Time promotion which includes 2 Sliders and 1 Coffee or Tea of your preferred choice, for just $6.90+!

Without further ado, our friends, dear, and I quickly got seated in The HandBurger and ordered 2 Tea Time Sets - one for me, the other for my friends.

For me, I had the Original Slider and the Battered Dory Slider:

Original Slider - Grilled NZ grass fed prime beef, sweet onion jam, cheddar cheese, handmade barbeque sauce on a bed of coral lettuce and a slice of tomato on a toasted caramelised onion bun.

Battered Dory Slider - Battered Pacific dory fish topped with a spicy tartare and renkon (lotus root) crisps on a bed of coral lettuce and a tomato on a toasted caramelised onion bun.

Don't they sound delicious? You bet! They taste as delicious as well! Personally, I prefer the dory slider because of it's crispy dory fish, which adds that crrruunccchhh followed by the hot, soft, dory fish meat when you bite into the burger.

In addition, I like how their Tea Time promotion allows me to choose any hot beverage - coffee or tea based - of my choice! So instead of the usual black coffee, I had the Mocha which retails for $4.80.

Adding the 2 sliders and the Mocha together, it would cost a total of $11.40. Instead, the set costs only $6.90++! Isn't it really worth it?

Ok enough of me raving about them. Go try it yourself and see if it's that gooooodddd!
