Situated at Safra Mount Faber, Tinge of Blue is a quiet cafe that is well hidden from the city life. Furthermore, it is located beside the pool and surrounded by the greens of Mount Faber; totally the kind of cafe that I like!
What I also like about Tinge of Blue is its nordic and simple interiors. Check out the cute little lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling!
As for our dinners, dear ordered Chargrill Chicken ($18.90) - Chargrilled Marinated Chicken served with Mushroom Sauce. Apart from the small portion, the BF nodded his head is praise of his dinner. Needless to say, he wiped out everything on his plate but his hunger not satiated.
For me, I ordered the Fish & Chips ($16.90) - lightly battered fish with fresh fish meat. Honestly, I wouldn't rate it five stars. But it was quite tasty nonetheless. Not the best, but good enough.
As for dessert, we decided to try out the Crispy Mini Chocolate Brownie served with Vanilla Ice Cream ($7.90), since it garnered so many compliments on various food blogs.
Anyway, I was a little taken a back when our dessert was served, because I was half expecting it to look like the normal brownie.
Well anyway, I took my first bite and my oh my! It was delicious!
Crispy and slightly crusted on the outside, yet warm and soft on the inside, this brownie is really one of it's kind. In fact, it taste even better when taken with the cold vanilla ice cream. As what the singaporean slang goes, it's "damn shiok!"
With that, I'd definitely return from this delectable dessert. But first, I would probably have dinner somewhere else, since their food is a tad pricey for its portions.
