Grace Said.: Making Mom's Day

Gosh I just reached home not long ago and for the first time in my life, I'm exhausted from shopping!

But it was a fruitful shopping trip, and most of all, it was especially fulfilling when I bought this Hello Kitty mooncake for mom.

You see, mom's a Hello Kitty fan. And I thought that well, this would make her day when she sees it! :)

It is sold in a set of 6 in a box, or you can buy it individually. There are four flavors in total - Pumpkin Taro, Yam, White Chocolate Cheese, and Lotus Paste. Individual Hello Kitty mooncakes are sold at $5.50 each while a box of 6 costs $30.80.

Unfortunately, I only like the Lotus Paste and hence, I bought it based on my own tastebuds. Well, it's the thought that counts. Right?

Well mom isn't back from work yet so I can't give it to her. But instead of just giving it to her, I intend to surprise her by putting the Hello Kitty mooncake in the fridge with a note sticked on top.

Ha! I hope she likes this little gift. It's also to thank her for making meals for the family.
