It was quite unexpected and spontaneous that we landed up in Ikea Tampines on a Sunday evening. It all began with "where you'd like to go" and was eventually triggered by a response "I think I need a new roller chair".So there we were at Ikea Tampines, lost in the store and looking for the chair section. When we finally found it, I quickly looked for the chair I saw on the Ikea Catalogue online. Dear wanted something better, so he went to other swivel chairs and tried them out.
At the end of the day, I bought the TORBJORN swivel chair (as per the one I saw online) at $79.00, while dear bought his KARSTEN swivel chair ar $169.00. What's the difference? Well, his has the tilt tension function whereas mine doesn't.
We also ended up buying a laptop/bed tray for $9.90, a chair pad for extra padding, and some alkaline batteries.
What a spontaneous shopping session we had! Thank you dear for the roller chair too! Love it!
