The Saturday Slake

 |

Apart from having tutorials back to back on a Saturday afternoon, I did enjoy myself a great deal today.

Well for one, I met up with dear after school and we shopped in Plaza Singapura. Before we met the Kruzers for dinner at 8PM, we had an hour or so to spare, and so we chilled out at Starbucks. There, we talked, we laughed, we reminisce about the good old times over our beverages and had a heartwarming time despite the cold from the drizzle outside.

When the drizzle finally simmered, we made our way to Comfort Cafe at Carlise Road to meet up with the Kruzers.

Since we arrived at 8plus 9, there were not much people yet. So we chose the seats closest to the TV, ordered our dinner, and waited for the match to start at 10PM. By then, many people started coming by and soon the whole place was crowded!

To be honest, I'm not a soccer fan, much less a World Cup fan. In fact, the Germany and Argentina match was the first match I've watched since the World Cup season started. But I must say, it was nice to experience the whole World Cup atmosphere with friends, and a bunch of rowdy crowd.

All in all, I enjoyed myself today, and darn I'm so going to get a Germany jersey now!
