Grace Said.: Ebony & Ivory

Today, we had the day to ourselves.

As usual, We began the day with church, followed by a movie "The Other Men"(which is a humorous yet crappy show), and finally chilling out at Tea Cosy.

As it was a lazy afternoon, I was sleepy and hence I ordered my usual Tea Cosy Premium Coffee ($3.95). Dear ordered something a little more refreshing - Ice Rootbeer ($4.90), and suggested that our beverages need to be accompanied with some light desserts. So after some consideration, we ordered "Ebony and Ivory" ($8.95) - which was actually Ice Cream with Brownie.

When the dessert finally arrived, I was actually quite disappointed that the portions were quite small. But when we took a bite, it was SO NICE! The Ice cream was a perfect complement to the warm brownie, and was absolutely refreshing especially on a hot day!

The chocolate syrup and little nuts added some crunchiness and taste to the ice cream and brownie, and is indeed a good topping; making the entire dish so delectable. Definitely a must try!

Any how, dear and I had such a good time in Tea Cosy, chatting and talking, indulging desserts and sipping our beverages. It was a perfect afternoon indeed, and we had a really good time. :)
