Popping By Punggol

 |

It always feels good to wake up later than usual on a weekday, bum around, and have the whole day planned with activities. But it feels even better when the boyfriend is also on leave, which makes being on leave even more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the rain was a complete "wet blanket" and our moods were a little dampened. Thankfully, we managed to borrow the family car and continued our day of errands and activities.

For our first stop, we visited the newly opened Punggol Waterway. Honestly, it was quite hard to find. But for all you first timers out there who would like to give this a visit, it's just beside Punggol MRT station; just look out for the white arc.

Sadly, I expected more from Punggol Waterways. Then again, I didn't really walk all of the walkways to fully appreciate and enjoy it. Perhaps we'll come back here next time when everything is ready, and when it isn't the rainy season.

Before leaving for our next destination, we popped by our future home - Punggol Waves. Glad to see its progress after so long.

Well, no doubt it was a rainy and gloomy Monday. But it was still a fruitful one.
