Now if everyone in the group received it, it would have more or less be confirmed right? The funny thing is that I was the ONLY ONE in the group to receive these notifications from Air Asia.
And it didn't help when the receptionist tried to call the stated number in the text message, because it was way past office hours and no one was picking up the phone.
We tried to check AirAsia's website but to no avail. It still showed that our flight how was due to depart at 09h50.
Not wanting to risk missing our flight, we decided to play safe and head to the airport at 07h00.
Arriving at the airport, we saw that our flight had indeed been delayed, indicated that the sms notifications from Air Asia last night was true.
But if that's the case, why was I the only one to receive it?
Up till today, this remains a mystery.
Having checked-in early, we had lots of time to spare. Our friends decided to have their one last foot massage, I decided to do so last minute souvenier shopping, while dear did his favorite pastime - sleeping.
Soon, it was our turn to board the plane. After clearing the gates, we were shuttled from the airport to where our plane was "parked".

Comfy seats that welcomed us. Too bad the seats are a little narrow, making it a hassle to go to the bathroom.
After one hour and 45minutes of flying, we finally landed back in our mother land - Singapore. While it feels good to come home, part of me still misses the culture, the life, and the fun we had in Phuket.
Looks like we will be back there again! Meanwhile, Happy Valentine's Day y'all!
