Chicken A La Carte

Yesterday, I received an email from an old church friend that contained a link to this video. I didn't have the time to watch it yesterday but this morning, I'm glad I gave this a look.

This short film - Chicken A La Carte, talks about the hunger and poverty brought about by Globalization. There are 10,000 people dying everyday due to hunger and malnutrition. This short film shows a forgotten portion of the society. The people who live on the refuse of men to survive. What is inspiring is the hope and spirituality that never left this people.

It is saddening to watch this because I never had the idea that the Poverty level in our neighbouring countries could be so bad. It's devastating and I have no idea how to help them :(

Probably I'll think twice before leaving any leftovers on my plate.
