Esther Turns 21 (Finally)

 |

Like every other normal kid, I have a childhood friend whom I've known ever since I was a little girl. Well, we didn't play our barbie dolls together, or hopscotch, or even a short game of catching. In fact if I am not wrong, we didn't interact much as kids back then.

But as we grew older and continued to attend the same church, we got to know each other better and soon, we became sisters; watching out and being accountable to each other.

So recently, I was invited to her GREEN birthday party on Friday to celebrate her 21st birthday and in the midst of all the fun and celebratory mood, my dear sister had a surprise of her lifetime:

Yes, Samuel came back all the way from France just to surprise her on her birthday itself. I guess his presence itself was a very costly present from him to her.

The smirk of success after Mr. Banana had revealed himself and surprised the whole entire audience with his special and sudden appearance.

Later in the party, we continued to have a fun time of "Old Maid" where everyone was given a stack of cards and they to take a card from their left. If they realize that they have 2 of a kind, they can put the twin cards on the floor and the the person who has the Old Maid card left loses at the end of the game. Interestingly, there were 4 Old Maid cards and as a result, there were 4 forfeiters.

The forfeiter will then have to choose 3 friends to participate in their forfeit. Little did these forfeiters know that the 3 friends that they have chosen would eventually dress them up for a 'fashion show'.

Finally, it was time to sing the birthday song and cut the cake. Well, my dear sister's finally 21!

Then, group photos were taken with various people that were present. As you can see from above, we had quite a blast at her party!

Before I left, I gave her personalize birthday gift - A green T-shirt with her name ironed on it. Well I really hope she likes this present. Anyway, Happy 21st birthday girl! :)
