Boy or Girl?

What happens if you find out that your pet rabbit, in which you have convinced the whole world that it is a boy, turns out to be a girl instead?
Well, it all started out one day when I was reading through some forums about Rabbit Care, and a forum member was asking fellow Rabbit owners on how to find out the gender of a rabbit. Based on the experience of these forumers and sources from the net, a list of "How to find out the gender of your rabbit" was churned out and since I happened to be reading that particular forum, I decided to check out Ruby as well.
So I flipped him over (in spite of the scratches he gave me while struggling to break free from my grip), and had a good look underneath.
Nothing. I am quite certain I didn't see any testicles hanging out and at Ruby's age, it would have been very obvious to spot the male genitals.
Sigh. I am confused and unsatisfied! If Ruby is a girl, why did the shop keeper tell me otherwise? Or was Ruby neutered when he was young?
Grrrr. For now, let's continue to be in denial and resume calling Ruby a "him". :$
