Dear Turns 24

 |

So dear turned 24 recently, and unlike the previous birthdays he had (with just me), he had a few birthday celebrations with different groups of people - Me, his family, and friends.

Went to Aquamarine at Marina Mandarin Hotel. The interiors blew me away. Seriously.

Had a sumptuous dinner at Aquamarine, where the food was served along the theme of Malaysia's famous or known cuisines.

Just as we were about to head back after footing the bill, our beloved friend surprised us with a large dish of cheesy prawns that were so huge, I thought they were mini lobsters! We were surprised by a birthday cake thereafter!

A group photo of everyone present. Love how everyone is at all smiles!

Then a photo of just the 2 of us. Dear seems to be a bit too full to smile properly.

Then there was another birthday celebration with our biker friends at Fish & Co, where dear was sabotaged to stand on the chair.

Like that wasn't embarrassing enough, the Fish & Co crew decided to sabotage the birthday boy further by asking him to blow out the candles from a distance.

1! 2! 3! HUFF and PUFF! Took him quite a few tries before he was successful in blowing out all the candles.

Dear looks happy at the end of the celebration. I hope he really is!

Then at the office, I did this impromptu and totally random thing as shown above. You might find it lame, but it certainly brightened his day! On top of that, the muffins were an excellent food choice for a hearty tea-break. Ha! :)
