The Indirect Method

 |

Be it at work, in school, friendships or even relationships, I have learnt this very precious lesson:

In every problem, either a direct or indirect method can be a solution nonetheless.

Of course direct methods are much quicker, less of a hassle, and are more efficient.

But for someone (like myself) who prefers to avoid direct confrontation in fear of rejection, or pain, or even criticism, he or she can still resort to using indirect methods to solve the problem.

A note I left for dear on his favorite can of Root Bear.

Likewise for any disagreements, quarrels, or conflicts, a direct method of saying "sorry" would solve the problem. But when 'sorry seems to be the hardest word', indirect methods (such as the above picture) are used.

In any case, whether a direct or indirect method, problems are still solved, people are happy, and we learn precious lessons - lessons that deter us from making the same mistakes in the future.
