My New Chill-out At Tea Cosy

 |

All these while, Starbucks has always been my preferred coffee-joint. But I must say that lately, it has become increasingly crowded with people, which is a bit of a turn-off for me. After all, I do like to spend my "me time" in somewhere peaceful, quiet, and cosy.

So I thought about Tea Cosy, which is a little cafe that's tucked in a corner of Plaza Singapura and is commonly mistaken as a shop that sells Angel ornaments only.

Well I've been to Tea Cosy a few times but it's just a habit to think of Starbucks or Coffee Bean when I need coffee and a place to chill-out.

Arriving at Tea Cosy, I was quickly seated in one of their comfy sofa chairs. Glancing around the cafe, I noticed that other than the couple sitting at the next table, there were no other people, which makes it perfect! No loud chatter, no need to squeeze with people and no queue; just my kind of bossa nova being played on the speakers, a delectable cupcake and my favorite cup of joe - Long Black.

Life is heaven in moments like these. No interruptions, no rush, no cares and no worries. Just music, peace, quietness, dessert, and coffee. Aaaahhh.
