It's so hard to find good porridge. And when I mean good, I mean thick, starchy, cantonese style kinda porridge.
But since not many places have it, I'll just have to make do whatever porridge I can find.
So today, my colleagues and I organized a farewell lunch for a fellow colleague at Crystal Jade Kitchen, located at Junction 8.
As I was suffering the aftermath of my braces tightening session the night before, porridge was more or less the only thing I could eat. Hence, I ordered their Sliced Fish & Century Egg Porridge.
Unlike my favorite kind of porridge, this was smooth and watery, which I thought was tasty and nice as well.
And here's the rest of the office bunch, with the glorious spread of Dim Sum on the table. We sure do look like a group of gluttons, don't we!
