Fast forwarding to present day, dear and I were shopping at Marina Square. Soon it was dinner time, and we started picking our brains for a dinner venue. Fortunately, I recalled Jia Xiang Sarawak Kuching Kolo Mee, and suggested it to the BF, who did not hesitate to say "Ok."
Here's the Duck Kolo Mee that the BF ordered. If not for the small portions, I think dear would comment "Good" instead of "Mmm.. Not bad".
But seriously, the duck meat is really not bad. Soft, tender, and without the overwhelming duck taste, it's no wonder dear unconsciously nodded his head in silent praise as he ate his dinner.
I however, ordered their classic Sarawak Kolo Mee, which consists of quite a number of ingredients: Minced meat, Char Siew, along with 2 different types of Wan Ton dumplings in my soup.
Well all in all, I would definitely give this place one thumbs up and probably revisit this cafe the next time I come by Marina Square. You should too!
