Frienzie Bar & Bistro

 |

Some weeks ago, dear and I bumped into our friends at Plaza Singapura. Having not met for some time, we decided to catch up over dinner. So we adjourned to Frienzie Bar & Bistro - a local Bistro located at the outskirts of Punggol:

10 Tebing Lane #01-02 Punggol
Singapore 828836
Tel: 6441-0966 / 8318-8850

As it was a weekend night, the place was pretty packed when we arrived. Fortunately, we were able to get seated quickly.

About 10 minutes or so, my Fish & Chips was served. You might think I'm exaggerating, but I swear my eyes lit up when I took my first bite.

It was so nicely battered and the fist meat was so soft and tasty! The portions are also generous (as shown above) and the skin was nice and crisp. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner, and you bet I finished all the fish!

Dear, on the other hand, had some Burger thingy (I'm really not so good with remembering food names) which I thought was quite good. Well, the patty was soft and succulent, but I think it would have tasted better if there were more Cumin.

With regards to the ambience, I thought it was a bit warm for my liking. More fans or air conditioning would certainly improve the guests' experience. Also, I noticed that some of their staff are nice, while others are just rude. I know it isn't a big deal but sometimes, it takes a rotten apple to spoil one's appetite.. you get what I mean?

Apart from that, it is a nice and comfy place to chill-out over dinner or booze. For me, I'll definitely chill-out over those finger-licking Fish & Chips.
