It has been a month or so since dear started working full time, and after receiving his paycheck, he brought his family and I to Long Beach Seafood Restaurant for dinner. :)

Bamboo Clams 

It wasn't in the Set Dinner that we ordered, so we ordered this dish separately. To me, it tastes like squid, and since I'm not a fan of squid, I didn't really fancy this.

Dear and his folks like it though, and that's all that matters anyway. :)

Fried Prawns With Almonds

I must admit that at my age, I have absolutely no idea how to peel off the shell from the prawns. All these while, dear has been faithfully doing the deed! But oh well, I guess I have to learn somehow.

However, dear said that these prawns can be eaten with the shell. So I tried, and I honestly prefer eating them without their shells. Nonetheless, the prawns taste pretty alright, but I seem to love the almonds more.

Shark Fin Soup

Hmm.. It definitely tastes better than the other Shark Fins soup I've tried so far.

Tofu With Vegetable

For those who have a salty tongue, this dish would be perfect. Well it's not ALL that salty - just a bit. But the tofu is delicious! Soft yet firm, the taste and the texture of the tofu eaten together with the sauce is just yummilicious!

Chili Crab

Man this Chili Crab is huge. The gravy is spicy and viscous, and is especially delicious when it is eaten with the Fried Buns or the piping hot Crab Meat.

Bee Hoon With Clams

I actually like this dish a lot because the Bee Hoon isn't like the usual ones I've eaten. This one is more chewy, a little more starchy, and not too dry. However, I didn't get to eat the clams because I'm not a clam person. :(

Coffee Pudding

I've been actually very skeptical about puddings so far (not sure why), but for this coffee pudding, it taste really like the coffee! Soft and rich in taste, this dessert would be perfect for all coffee lovers out there. A delectable dessert that is best eaten on a hot and sunny day.
