Dinner At Ikea

 |

Yesterday after work, dear and I headed to Ikea Restaurant to try out their food. I for one, suggested this place because I have never been to Ikea Tampines before, and I had cravings for their Fish Fillet (BBQ Sauce) with Spaghetti.

Arriving at Ikea, I was quite amazed at how spacious and huge the building was. It was so big, I had problems finding where the Restaurant was. But when we finally found it, I was quite shocked to see how crowded it was. After all, it's a weekday night and I honestly didn't expect that anyone would come here for dinner. Haha!

This is the Fish Fillet (BBQ Sauce) with Spaghetti ($5.50) that I had. Honestly, it wasn't fantastic at all. In fact, it was below average! The pasta was dry, the fish tasted soggy, and well, the cold vegetables were tasteless.

Dear had Meatball Pasta. He didn't really seem to like it considering the fact that he said "It's tasteless". Meatballs were average. I have really nothing else to say, which is quite shocking because Ikea is known for their Meatballs.

We also had Salmon Nuggets With Fries ($2.90) for our Side Dish. Salmon Nuggets tasted surprisingly much better than the main dishes. Dear enjoyed the Tartar Sauce, but I preferred Chili Sauce as my dip instead.

I guess the good thing was that the drinks are free flow if you purchase a cup for just $1.50. Coffee and tea are free-flow as well, for just $1 each cup. Water is free though.

All in all, I wasn't too pleased about the food there. For the same amount of money, I would have had a sumptuous feast at the Sze Char Stall located downstairs my house.
