Yesterday was unlike the rest of the Sundays, because dear got his hands on the family car and that gave me the opportunity to FINALLY wear my dresses! Ha ha!
So anyway, we met up with our friends as usual, and we had dinner at Republic of Steak.

If you look closer, there is a sign that says No Gst, No Service Charge. How kind of them!
So CS ordered a side dish: Fish Fingers for $3.50, it is actually quite value for money! 
Dear tried out their Cowboy Sirloin Steak at $15.90. He says that it's not too bad. I however, thought that their buttered rice was a bit too dry, and a little hard.
I ordered their Norwegian King Salmon for $13.90 and boy I love it! If I had a chance to go back, I'll definitely order this again! Even their Onion Rings taste so awesomely good!However, the Garlic Spaghetti was a tad too hard as well. Nonetheless, it was good and I enjoyed my dinner so much that I wiped out my plate!
P/s: All main dishes come with complementary 2 side dish.
Anyway, we headed to Once Upon A Milkshake to chill and to have a discussion. When I first entered, I was drawn to their minimalist design and creativity. For one, the chairs and tables are really cute as they are shorter their usual, the menus, the little signs, are all interestingly decorated and done up. Unfortunately, I'm lactose intolerant and so I didn't try out their milkshakes. Thankfully, the shop owner made me a cup of 3 in 1 coffee from their pantry ($1) if not I would have just drank plain water!
All in all, it was a very relaxing day with good food and good company. Ahhhh.. my weekend bliss!
