Today, some close friends in church gathered to throw a surprise party for (from left to right) Weston, Dear, Bernard, and Darren's birthday.It's been a while since we all gathered to fellowship and catch up, and it certainly felt heartwarming to be in the company of close friends despite the rainy afternoon.
We talked, we laughed, we joked with each other, we played with the four bulldogs, the guys had fun challenging each other with a game of FIFA, there was good food, the cake was nice.. it was basically a cosy afternoon filled with joy and feasting.
I guess, this ought to be the way a weekend should be spent - with your loved one, with good friends, and of course, good food.
