Series Of Fortunate Events

Hooray! Dear is back safe and sound.. and guess what did he bring back for me? BLOO from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends! Hmm, he was supposed to be bring back Spongebob and Patrick plush toys from his SIA flight but they told him that they change their toys every month.

Oh what a shame! I'm fine with Bloo though! Teehehe. Looking at it makes me laugh, and you know how I've always had a thing for soft toys! So having this around me all the time really tickles!

..

Well, God is sure humorous! He must have known how lonely and dull I would be without dear in town because today, so many unexpected things turn up and I was really ecstatic!

First up! My classmates and I headed over to Aston's Specialist for lunch, thanks to my personal persuasion and recommendation! Apart from the grumpiness from the long wait for our food, our lunch was yummilicious! I had some BBQ chicken with two hot sides - BBQ beans and onion rings! Oh dear, I better start remembering names of dishes!

After school, Rachel and I headed to town for a walk as well as some retail therapy! In the mean time, we passed by this really cute christmas tree made up entirely by Red, Green, and Pink bears! How awesome is that! You can find this tree at Takashimaya departmental store, 1st floor.

.. Of course, nothing beats the real christmas tree located at Takashimaya's main lobby! It's so tall, it is 2 storeys high! Magnificent! Really glamarous!

But the main highlight of the day was.. PHOTO-TAKING WITH WINNIE THE POOH AND FRIENDS! I literally felt like I was in Disney Land or some sort, squealing with delight! Oh and this is how I react when I'm not even a real fan of Pooh. Imagine if it was Spongebob and Patrick! I would have clung onto them and not let go! Teehehe!

When you thought that was major, wait till you hear this! After our retail therapy, Rachel and I decided to split up and head for our programs.

While accompanying her to the bus stop, we saw a queue outside Starbucks, Crown Prince Hotel. Curious, we went proceeded towards the queue to find out more. Turns out to be: FREE STARBUCKS DRINK (of any kind) from 5pm to 7pm! Wow!

Being the typical Singaporeans, we both joined in the queue! Kudos to Starbuck's efficiency, we manage to get our drinks within 10 minutes!
After a long day of fortunate events, I headed for cell. Interestingly, most of my cell mates didn't turn up and with the small handful of people that turned up, we decided to 'shift' our cell to The Books Cafe!

The Book Cafe
Address: #01-02, 20 Martin Road,
Seng Kee Building Singapore 239070
Opening Hours: Sunday to Thursday: 8.30am to 10.30pm,
Friday & Saturday: 8.30am to 12.00am

I must say, it is really a place where will go if I want to chill, surf the net, or just kill time! They really do have a wide variety of books for you to browse through, as well as nice comfy sofas to plop in, throw in that perfect drink that suits your heart desire and viola!~ A place I will definitely return to!
