Sometime ago, dear and I were sitting through a sermon on a typical Sunday Service when the pastor mentioned about a beautiful lake named Lake Kenyir, that he and his wife passed by while they were driving along the East to West of Malaysia.
At once, dear and I looked at each other with some sort of telepathy and grinned. We then placed Lake Kenyir right on top of the list of "Places we want to visit one day".
Coincidentally, we heard that Kruzers are planning a 3 day 2 night trip to Lake Kenyir in the month of November. So without much hesitation, dear and I put our names down.
Since we'll be traveling about 800km before reaching our destination - Lake Kenyir Resort & Spa we were told to get plenty of rest beforehand.
4th Nov 2010 - 22h10: Dear and I arrived at GP Esso to meet up with the Kruzers. We had a short briefing at 22h45 before moving off at 23h00 sharp.
5th Nov 2010 - 03h00: We stopped for our 2nd petrol stop at NKVE, where we had breakfast at Mcdonalds. 
5th Nov 2010 - 07h10: Dawn soon appeared after moving off from our third petrol stop at Tapah. I was glad to take a picture of the beautiful sunrise. Love the color of the purple and orange hues in the sky. 
5th Nov 2010 - 08h00: Traveling along the route of Cameron Highlands, I was blown away by the spectacular view of scenery. The mountains, the greenery, the crisp fresh air and cool weather was just so beautiful and breathtaking!
5th Nov 2010 - 08h36: After thirty minutes of winding roads and cool weather, we soon arrived at Gua Musang. Here, the weather was less cool, but the scenery was as spectacular especially with the thin cloud cover hovering upon the mountains. 
5th Nov 2010 - 08h51: We stopped by the side of the road along Gua Musang for some photo-taking and a short rest. Love the picture above, where everyone is in their natural poses unaware of the existence of my camera.
5th Nov 2010 - 10h25: Hungry and a little tired from traveling, we stopped by a local coffee-shop for brunch, before traveling the last lap of about 100 over km to our final destination. 
5th Nov 2010 - 13h20: Along the way, we decided to stop by an elephant sanctuary have a personal touch with the elephants. 
5th Nov 2010 - 15h00: We finally arrived at Lake Kenyir Resorts and Spa! It was indeed a long and arduous journey full of sun, rain and potholes. Dear and I were exhausted, but we were so glad to have finally arrived safely!
5th Nov 2010 - 15h30: After getting our keys and waiting for the buggy to arrive and send us to our rooms, we arrived at our chalet which had a stunning view of the lake from our balcony! 
5th Nov 2010 - 19h00: After a nice bath and a short nap, Kruzers met up at the restaurant for dinner. After which, we bought some grubs at the resort's convenience store before heading to our leader's room to chill out before heading back to our chalets for a good night sleep.Possibly Related Posts:
