Usually when I'm at TCC (The Coffee Connoisseur), I'll just order their beverages and chill out with dear or my friends. Rarely do I have a meal there because I'm so used to thinking that they only serve drinks! Furthermore, I've only tried the Beef Steak On Crispy Puff Pastry which I thought was a little pricey albeit their good yet acquired taste, so I guess I'd rather spend have my meals elsewhere.
I must say, that this dish is simply delectable! The mushroom gravy was a perfect compliment with the pastry, which was soft yet crispy, and with ingredients similar to those found in a shepherd's pie.
Dear and I also shared our usual Nutty Mocha Frappe. But to be honest, I'd still prefer Starbuck's Mocha Frappe - which I think has a richer and fuller taste.
Since dear and I had our dinner already, we decided to order Dark Devotion for dessert. It's simply a molten cake with chocolate ice cream (you can ask to change flavors) with a sugary caramelized crispy waffle.
Well I guess I should adjust my mentality because TCC has proven that they don't only serve good beverages, but good full meals or snacks as well. Downside is that these beverages and meals are a little pricey (in my opinion), so I'd rather have my cuppa at Starbucks, or satisfy my cravings for Fried Carrot Cake, Porridge, or something else at my neighbourhood coffeeshop.
