2009 Reflections

 |

In a blink of an eye, this year zoomed by right before my eyes. And since it is the last day of 2009, I've decided to do some reflection on the major milestones or events that happened in 2009.

Dear bought me a Panasonic LX3 for my 21st birthday! This is by far the greatest and most expensive gift that I have received. Till now, it has served me faithfully and effectively, and with it, I've learnt more than just the standard point-and-shoot camera.

My brother bought me a rabbit! Since it was my 21st birthday, my brother decided to buy me something a bit more costly - a lopped ear rabbit! Ruby's probably the longest keeping pet I have so far.

I scored well for my studies. Thank God for his blessing and grace, I have been doing well for my studies in MDIS. Now that I'm in the second year of my degree, I do hope that I can keep up the honor roll.

Class 2B License. I guess after being a pillion for so long, I've decided to take up a motorcycle license so as to understand the joy of riding. It was a bold choice - one that most people will never imagine me taking. But I've never regretted it.

2 New Keys. About three months after I've got my license, I made the biggest decision of my life - to get my own bike. Life then on was never the same.

The Decision. I never imagined that I will take up Part Time Studies and Full Time Work. But as the opportunity came, I just accepted it and now, I'm glad that I am still able to cope. Let's see how it goes in 2010.

CCIS. Celebrating Christmas in Singapore was Detonate Band's first public performance. And since I was the keyboardist in the band, it was my first public exposure as well. Well, it sure was a good opportunity to perform and get some public experience.

Looks like 2009 has been an unconventional and exciting year for me. Let's see how 2010 goes! Happy New Year everyone!
