XO Fish Bee Hoon

In celebration of dear's mom's birthday today, dear, myself, and his folks decided to try out the Holland Village XO Fish Bee Hoon that was relocated to Dover.

Since we arrived at about 8 plus, there wasn't much of a crowd for the XO Fish Bee Hoon. Any how, dear's dad ordered a couple of dishes, and one of them was this Prawn Paste Fried Chicken Wings.

Now I'm really a fan of Chicken Wings because I'm just too lazy to dirty my hands. But this chicken wings are different! They are much tastier and more crispy!

Another dish that dear's dad ordered was Sliced Fish Hor Fun. It wasn't too bad, the kway teow was very bouncy and springy. I thought that they had too many bean sprouts in it.

Thirdly, dear's dad ordered Stir Fried Vegetables, in which the stems are quite crispy. However, I thought that their sauce was a tad salty.

Then came the Ngoh Hiang, which was so crispy and tasty, and delicious! Perfect combination when eaten with their chilli.

Last but not least, dear's dad ordered the XO Fish Bee Hoon. I guess the flavors from the previous dishes might have covered our taste buds because I thought it tasted pretty normal, just with some XO taste.

Fish tasted good and fresh, but other than that, I thought it tasted pretty ok.

After dinner, we headed to dear's place for the final celebration: The Birthday Cake!
I bought the above from Four Leaves, and was glad that everyone enjoyed the cake ! Phew!
